The decision to have a new custom inground swimming pool built can be overwhelming and challenging. At Sunset Pools, our goal is to take one stroke at a time throughout each project phase to make the total pool building experience fun and exciting, with incredible results.

Experts In The Pool Industry Since 1996

Our many years of building custom new pools have given us the experience needed to know what is best for each homeowner’s lifestyle. But unfortunately, not all pools are suitable for all individuals and families. This is when it becomes crucial to work with a pool builder who knows the difference.

What Is Your Lifestyle?

Are You Into Fitness?

There are many different shapes and sizes, so it is vital to know which is best for your needs. If you are into physical fitness, perhaps a lap pool may be best? Cocktail pools, plunge pools and spools are growing in popularity for those with a small yard.

Is Entertaining Your Thing?

If you love to entertain and gather your friends in the pool for a night game of volleyball, then considering a pool with a pool depth of 3 to 5 feet will work. In addition, a custom-designed pool with a soothing waterfall, a built-in spa or a swim-up bar would be perfect for entertaining.

How About The Kids?

If your kids love to dive then, of course, you will need a deep end of about 8 feet so they can make that big splash and stay safe while doing it. How about a waterfall with a built-in slide?

And Now, For Downtime

After a long day of work and a stressful schedule, who would not appreciate a bit of downtime relaxing poolside with your favorite cocktail in hand? There are an unlimited amount of soothing water and fire features that can be added to the pool. Both trickling water and the crackle and glow of fire contribute to a serene and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and unwinding.

So Let's Get Started!

At Sunset Pools, our professional pool designers use their expertise to combine all of the additional features beyond the pool size and shape to create your incredible poolscape.

The entire team of pool designers, builders, technicians, plumbers and electricians is highly knowledgeable and detail-oriented. We can assure you that your new custom inground swimming pool is in great hands.

Pool Types

Gunite Pools

Gunite pools are solid with superior durability and offer unlimited customization options. Size and shape have no limits, while you can easily add additional features such as grottos, waterfalls, benches, built-in bars, spas, water and fire features and much more.

Vinyl Pools

Gunite pools can become quite costly, but that all depends on the extent of the added features. A vinyl liner pool is great if you want an affordable pool of various shapes and sizes. They can be customized but not as much as a gunite pool. In addition, there are a wide variety of liner designs and colors to choose.

Fiberglass Pools

When it comes to cost, fiberglass pools fall somewhere in between gunite and vinyl. A fiberglass pool is in one piece; therefore, the installation is faster than gunite and vinyl. In addition, there is low maintenance, and since the surface is non-porous, the growth of algae is low. Over the past years, there has been an expediential amount of change in the fiberglass pool industry; designs, color finish, and aesthetic features have expanded.
